New Jersey was the pioneer state to legalize online gambling in 2013, when its casinos opened. Regardless of these restrictions, more states are legalizing online gambling every year. With the Supreme Court lifting its federal ban last May and many new markets opening their doors soon afterward, online gambling seems poised for further growth in coming years.
